French Montana and Max B have released their highly anticipated collab song, “MAWA (Make America Wavy Again).”
The track, with the name that repurposes President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, came out on Dec. 12 with a sleek music video directed by Kid Art.

French and Max had been teasing “MAWA (Make America Wavy Again” since the start of December. Two days before it was released, the duo shared footage of Max B shooting the music video.
“MAWA (Make America Wavy Again” is the first taste of French and Max’s joint project of the same name that’s set to drop on Jan. 9. It’ll be their first mixtape together in six years, but that’s not all that they’re working on.
In November, shortly after Max’s release from prison, he and French announced another project together in a joint Instagram post. "Coke Wave “NARCOS” 3.5 - January 9th 2026 COKE WAVY SEASON BACK IN EFFECT," the caption reads.
That same month, Max made his official return to music, after being spotted in the studio on multiple occasions, with the release of the track “No More Tricks.” The track was supposed to be the first release from the comeback album Public Domain 7: The First Purge (Patient Zero) that was set to arrive on Nov. 28, the project never dropped.
In an interview with Billboard, Max said of his music making skills that, “It’s going to take me a little second to shake the rust off,” before assuring the world, “the music coming. I’m in the lab. It’s coming.”
