A man alleging that he was sexually assaulted at a Diddy party has taken Beyoncé and Jay-Z out of the lawsuit.
TMZ reports that Manzaro Joseph, who filed a lawsuit against Diddy earlier this month, has amended his complaint. Originally, he claimed that Diddy drugged him and forced him to walk around the party while wearing a vulgar mask — causing Beyoncé to allegedly say about him, “Why is this half-naked white man with a cock mask standing here in front of me?”
The new lawsuit reportedly claims that the situation still happened — but all mentions of the Carters have been removed from it.
TMZ alleges the reason for this being Jay-Z’s attorney Alex Spiro warning Joseph’s attorney about including false allegations in the lawsuit. Spiro allegedly proved that the Carters weren’t even near Miami when Joseph claimed the incident happened.
Back in March, Jay-Z responded to a woman who accused of him rape by alleging that she lied about the incident.
In an affidavit shared with Complex, a private investigator claimed to have met with the accuser, Jane Doe, in February. During the meeting, Doe allegedly admitted that her attorney, Tony Buzbee, “pushed” her to include Jay-Z in her lawsuit against Diddy despite her only wanting to sue the music mogul.
“He was the one that kind of pushed me towards going forward with him, with Jay-Z,” Doe reportedly stated, per Henderson’s affidavit.
Doe also supposedly acknowledged that Jay-Z attended the party but said he “did not take part in any sexual assault of Ms. Doe.”
Jay-Z has filed a defamation suit against the woman and her lawyers.
