21 Savage has shared that he thinks Gunna and Young Thug could potentially mend their relationship — if one of them puts their pride to the side.
During an episode of Perspektives with Bank shared on Thursday (December 11), Savage spoke about Gunna and Thug’s fractured friendship. Gunna’s been quiet about Thug ever since taking the Alford plea during the YSL trial, which has prompted the latter to diss him for being a "rat" ever since.
"The only way that’ll be patched up is if Guns says something to him first," 21 Savage said (around the two-hour mark in the video below). "Because (Thug) ain’t do nothing wrong to me, in that situation."
21 Savage then revealed that he doesn’t necessarily fault Gunna for what he did. "I be going back and forth about the shit, because in my heart, I don’t feel like he did it to hurt him," he said. "But then again, I feel like n***as will do anything to get out, too."
"I feel like Gunna was thinking in his head, 'I ain’t see (Thug) do nothing. I ain’t even say nothing specific about what I seen anybody doing.' But saying you seen n***as commit crimes for YSL, that’s bad bro, that’s not good."
Elsewhere in the interview, 21 Savage revealed how he believes he would have became a millionaire even if he hadn’t become a superstar rapper.
"I know we would’ve hit a lick for about 500 bricks or something that would’ve just still made me a millionaire," he said. "I was gonna be a millionaire in the street, regardless."
On Friday (December 12), 21 Savage released a new album, What Happened to the Streets?, featuring Young Nudy, Latto, Drake, GloRilla, G Herbo, Metro Boomin and Lil Baby.
