Waka Flocka Flame, apparently, has zero interest in self-pleasure.
The TMI, or at least TMI-adjacent, reveal came during a recent appearance from the LeBron Flocka James 2K26 artist on the Shirley’s Temple podcast, which saw host Shirley Ju remarking that she doesn’t “like” porn. Waka responded by agreeing with this stance, then elaborated further on his view of masturbation at large.
“Me neither,” he said. “I ain’t fucking with that. I don’t do no jerking off, none of that shit. Hell nah. That shit nasty as fuck.”
Presented with a hypothetical scenario of being locked up in jail, Waka still declined to endorse the practice.
“Why the fuck am I thinking about pussy around a whole bunch of dicks?” he asked. “You think pussy on my mind? I’m trying to get the fuck out of here.”
Later, Waka reiterated his argument, saying he “ain’t no sexualized ass n***a” while pointing to the current aim of his career.
“That ain’t me,” he added. “I know for me in life right now, it ain’t about me. So it’s different. If I wanted to be a rapper, maybe I’d be liking porn, maybe I’d be having a million songs with everybody.”
There is, to be clear, absolutely nothing wrong with masturbation. In fact, the practice has health benefits, despite a longstanding push against it, largely from those in hyper-religious circles and other forms of self-limiting beliefs. In contrast to Waka’s remarks, other artists, including Billie Eilish, have publicly endorsed the practice.
“People should be jerking it, man,” the 10-time Grammy winner told Rolling Stone back in 2024. “I can’t stress it enough, as somebody with extreme body issues and dysmorphia that I’ve had my entire life.”
