Travis Scott is assuring fans that he’ll return to Türkiye to “perform for real” after making a club appearance in Istanbul this weekend.

While social media chatter following the Istanbul club appearance included remarks from less-than-enthused attendees who questioned the length of the performance and the cost of tickets, a chief executive for TemaCC, credited as the event’s promoter in Turkish media reports, was quick to push back against such criticisms of the the event.

“He hosted the party for an hour... then he gave an exceptional performance for 20 minutes,” the exec said, per an AFP report citing Turkish media outlets.

Now, Scott himself has spoken out, teasing a full-scale performance in the region soon.

In a statement shared to his Instagram Stories on Monday (June 1) and addressed to “all the ragers,” Scott said he was only in town “to host a party for a friend’s big day,” adding that he “can’t wait” to return.

“Can’t wait to actually come back and perform for real, especially after seeing how turnt bro show looked,” he added, presumably referencing the artist formerly known as Kanye West’s recent stadium show in Istanbul. “Can’t wait to see the ragers in Turkey sometime soon.”

Scott has another Türkiye appearance slated for Monday, this time in Izmir. The event is billed as “a high-energy club show experience” and “a Travis Scott takeover.”

This summer, the Utopia artist, who recently teased a new album amid UEFA Champions League Final festivities in Budapest, will be seen in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
