A new lawsuit has been filed against Tay-K accusing the "The Race" hitmaker of robbing and beating up a man in Arlington, Texas.

The suit was filed Friday by Owney and Barbara Pepe, per regional outlet The Forth Worth Star-Telegram, and also names record label 88 Classic and Tay-K manager Ezra Averill. Pepe, who was 65 at the time of the alleged May 2017 incident, said he was walking in the Cravens Park area when Tay-K walked up behind him with a gun.

"[Tay-K] then savagely beat the defenseless 65-year-old, leaving him unconscious with multiple broken bones and [a] brain bleed," the suit claims. "McIntyre dragged Mr. Pepe's body off the trail and left him for dead in the woods."

The suit notably argues that Tay-K and his team intentionally capitalized on this and other alleged incidents with their new music release strategy. Specifically, the suit claims that money from a record deal was "illegally" hidden to avoid compensating alleged victims.

One month prior to the Pepe incident, Tay-K (Taylor Travon McIntyre) is alleged to have fatally shot 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar. He's also alleged to have killed 21-year-old Ethan Miller in 2016. At the time, Tay-K was then placed on (an eventually broken) house arrest as he awaited a determination on whether he would be tried as an adult. He's now facing multiple charges including two for capital murder, as well as an aggravated robbery count.
