Watch Slim Shady Tell Eminem He’s 'Scaring the Hoes' With 'Lyrical Miracles' Like "Rap God"

It's safe to say Slim isn't a fan of much of Em's more recent output.

Complex's latest cover star Eminem is "scaring the hoes," so says his own vengeful creation, Slim Shady.

The assessment arrived during Em and Slim’s new one-on-one interview for Complex. Instead of a traditional back-and-forth, the interview in question took on the form of a heated exchange of grievances between two forever intertwined forces who ultimately arrive at a somewhat reluctant point of agreement by the end of the conversation. Still, neither Slim nor Em minced words along the way.

"You had one era that mattered. Mine," Slim told his creator at one point. "Everything that people think of when they think of Eminem is fucking yours truly." In fact, from Slim's point of view, the Slimless entries in Em's catalog "ain't it." He event went so far as to propose that one could confuse Em's more recent output with A.I.-enabled emulations.

Em took issue with this by pointing to "Rap God," his acrobatic 2013 Marshall Mathers LP 2 single. This only fired Slim up even more.

"Look, man. No one gives a fuck about your lyrical miracles," he said. "You’re scaring the hoes. People wanna be entertained."

"Rap God" set a record for sheer wordiness at the time of its release, later scoring a Grammy nomination and surpassing one billion views on YouTube. Slim, seemingly, is not one of them.

See the full interview, which Slim claims is actually an "intervention" at the hands of Dr. Dre and others, up top. The conversation arrives at a particularly compelling time for Em and Slim both, as The Death of Slim Shady recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, notably ending Taylor Swift’s streak in the process. The feat, which now stands as Em’s eleventh No. 1 album, adds a nice touch of irony to one of Slim’s mid-interview jabs.
