Won't the real Slim Shady please stand up?

Joe Burrow took the Eminem reference and ran with it for his new look, which he debuted on Instagram this week as "Blonde Burrow." On Tuesday (July 23), the Bengals posted shots of Burrow on Instagram of the quarterback arriving for training camp, with a caption that read "Guess who's back," a lyrical reference to Em's 2002 single "Without Me."

Even the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes got in on the fun.

Burrow's new look comes just in time, as Eminem released his twelfth album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), on July 12. The album, which features J.I.D, Big Sean, BabyTron, Jelly Roll and more, was dethroned Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department upon its release.

While some listeners believe that Em has sealed the coffin on his "Slim Shady" alter ego, which he debuted in 1999, the rapper urged fans to hear his new LP from beginning to end to catch its concept.

"Public service announcement: the ‘death of slim shady’ is a conceptual album, therefore, if you listen to songs out of order they might not make sense," Em wrote on X before the album's release. "Enjoy."

We'll see if Em makes another NFL spotlight when the season begins in September.
