One should never have the dogs out around Rosalía, or anyone for that matter.
In an interview with Bella Freud for the Fashion Neurosis podcast, released Nov. 12, the Lux artist and two-time Grammy winner detailed a number of style and general personal presentation choices she finds attractive, ultimately leading to an outright condemnation of men peculiarly opting to have their feet fully exposed in public.
“I don’t like when men show their feet,” Rosalía said, leading to a round of shared laughter with Bella, adding that she finds it “so hot” when women do it, but “disgusting” when men partake.
Elaborating further, she recalled being in the studio with an unnamed artist described only as “one of the biggest” in the world at the moment. This unidentified individual, per Rosalía, “became barefoot” within minutes of his arrival.
“He just did it right away,” she recalled. “He just put his feet on the table. … I couldn’t even find it not even a tiny bit attractive.”
Seeing one’s socks, however, evokes something different.
“Like, give me socks, yes. I wanna see your socks,” Rosalía added. “I don’t wanna see your feet.”
Lux, released this month, was immediately made the subject of end-of-year list speculation and is certain to go down as one of the most universally acclaimed projects of 2025. Among the fellow artists enlisted for the album, Rosalía’s fourth, were Björk and Pharrell.
Next year, fans can look forward to seeing Rosalía among the cast for Euphoria’s long-awaited third season return. Other newcomers to Sam Levinson’s universe include Sharon Stone and Marshawn Lynch, with no shortage of previous seasons stars—like Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, and Jacob Elordi—also confirmed to be back in the mix.
