Peter Rosenberg has updated his view of Drake fans after previously accusing the Iceman artist of “celebrating what you believe is our demise” in the wake of Ebro in the Morning’s Hot 97 exit.

On Sunday (Dec. 14), Rosenberg, who likened his time at Hot 97 to living out “a childhood dream,” argued that perceived virginity was a key aspect of his current assessment of Drake’s fanbase.

“I used to think of Drake fans as attractive women who liked to party ... now it's like weird Twitch commenters who are absolutely virgins,” Rosenberg wrote in an X update, as seen below.

Last week, Drake was quick to respond to news of Hot 97 cutting Ebro in the Morning from its lineup by commenting with an axe emoji on a video of Ebro Darden detailing what he believes was instrumental in the decision. As Ebro sees it, key to the decision was a larger effort to get him and his more progressive views “out the way,” with the Powers That Be more concerned with wealth and access.

“They don’t give a fuck about hip-hop or Black music or Black community,” Ebro said in a video shared shortly after the news broke. “They don’t give a fuck about none of that.”

Both Darden and Rosenberg publicly took issue with Drake’s presumed celebration of their Hot 97 exits. Darden, for one, slammed the 2026 Grammys nominee as “right wing,” while Rosenberg pointed to this as an example of why it’s “impossible for people to defend the wack shit that he does.”

While it’s unclear what may be next for the Ebro in the Morning team, something new is definitely on the horizon.
