PartyNextDoor and Drake’s Upcoming Joint Album Is in the 'Finishing Touches' Stage

Here in Nashville, the first snap of cold was finally felt this morning. While I can’t speak for elsewhere, it’s safe to say that the only season that truly matters has mercifully been kicked into high gear, and not a moment too soon. Put another way, we are now approaching what would be the ideal time for PartyNextDoor and Drake to roll out their previously announced joint project.

As you’ll recall, the 6 god, whose 2024 has been a particularly compelling year thanks to matters of Kendrick and all-around beefery, said back in August that he and PND would be sharing their new album together once the weather crossed into the “a little chilly” side of things. A recent episode of OVO Noel and OVO Mark's The Fry Yiy Show on SiriusXM this past Friday saw fans being given a timely update on the status of the project, which is seemingly nearing the finishing line.

This update follows Drake recently telling fans that the album can be expected to arrive “soon.” In August, PND suggested the project was shaping up to span roughly 15 songs in length, though no official tracklist or other info has been made public as of this writing.

For PND, this will mark the follow-up to his P4 album, which dropped through OVO back in April after the cover art caused a stir on social media. Drake, meanwhile, last rolled out a full-length with his For All the Dogs album last October. One year earlier, he and 21 Savage went the joint album route with Her Loss, a Best Rap Album nominee.
