This fall, Drake will make a grand return to R&B in collaboration with PartyNextDoor.

During a special R&B-only concert that Drizzy held in Toronto on Friday, August 2, he shared the good news with his loyal fans. The announcement comes shortly after his feud with Kendrick Lamar tapered off, although the rapper has released non-diss tracks like "Wah Gwan Delilah" and "Hot Uptown" with Camila Cabello.

"On behalf of me and Party, we’ve been working on something for y’all," the 6 God told the audience at Toronto's Budweiser Stage. "So, you get the summer over with, you do what you need to do. I know all you girls are outside. When it gets a little chilly, PartyNextDoor and Drake album will be waiting right there for you."

The two artists have long been connected, not only because PND is on the OVO label roster, but also because the singer-songwriter has co-written some memorable Drake deep cuts, including "Legend" and "Elevate." During the show, Drake declared that PND is the "King of R&B" and thanked the PartyNextDoor 4 artist for "changing my life and changing my sound."

Drake first teased their collaborative album in an Instagram Story around PND's 31st birthday in June.

"More life to the late night serander 6 side sound creator owl gang crusader melodies that persuade her baby making music to put her in labour none greater @partynextdoor stay tuned real soon," Drake wrote.

During the concert, Drake also performed the aforementioned "Wah Gwan Delilah," confirming that the song wasn't AI-generated, his 2015 "Sweeterman" remix, and was joined by Roy Woods for their "Drama" collaboration.
