Thursday night's Yams Day tribute show at the New York Expo Center was reportedly cut short after an incident involving unknown parties.

A New York City Police Department rep told the New York Daily News there had been a "crowd control situation," with social media footage showing what appears to be a fight. "It was super packed and we couldn't tell what was happening," one witness told the Daily News.

The incident in question reportedly happened around 10:30 p.m. local time, which is roughly two hours after the tribute event kicked off. ASAP Rocky was reportedly performing at the time. Unsubstantiated rumors of gunshots being heard at the show were denied by the NYPD rep.

Billboard's account of the incident adds that Rocky was in the audience at the time of the incident "partying with fans." As Rocky got deeper into the crowd, he was informed from the stage that there was a "security issue." An NYPD rep also confirmed there "no injuries."

This year's Yams Day lineup was stacked. Rocky was joined by ASAP Ferg, Asap Twelvyy, Lil Yachty, Nav, Playboi Carti, French Montana, Flatbush Zombies, and special guests. The event was marked by a special ASAP Mob x New Era 'Yamborghini' hat. The hats were sold at Yams Day, with proceeds going toward the Always Strive and Prosper Foundation.
