In celebration of Yams Day 2018, New Era and ASAP Mob have joined forces on a limited edition cap collection that will benefit a good cause.
The New Era Cap x A$AP MOB x YAMBORGHINI range consists of two 59FIFTY fitted hats that feature the Yamborghini bull logo on the front and a “Yams Day 2018” side patch. The $40 caps, which were designed by ASAP Twelvyy, are available in white or black colorways and will be sold exclusively at this year’s festival in the Bronx.
Proceeds from the cap sales will go toward the Always Strive And Prosper Foundation, a charitable organization that aims to educate young people about substance abuse. The nonprofit was established in honor of ASAP Yams, who died in early 2015 from an accidental drug overdose.
Yams Day 2018 kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET today, Jan. 18, at the NY Expo Center. This year’s lineup includes Lil Yachty, French Montana, Nav, Playboi Carti, G Perico, Flatbrush Zombies and, of course, ASAP Mob. Proceeds from the event's ticket sales will also go toward the Always Strive And Prosper Foundation.
Last year's festival featured stellar performances by Kendrick Lamar, the Weeknd, ASAP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Joey Badass, and more.
