There's a certain darkness to Rihanna's "Bitch Better Have My Money," tucked firmly beneath the track's playful dalliance through a sonic land mine of modern vulgarity. In short, the track is extremely good — and the video, though a source of brief contention for some, only adds to its punk-esque allure. But is it metal? Is that ever a valid question of anything?
Well, no. But Korn — the band with a largely inconsequential back catalog but one undeniably great video — turned that question into a challenge, dousing the near-anarchic joys of "BBHMM" in chugging guitars and mild dissonance. I made it all the way through this remix, but is it essential? Absolutely not.
However, sometimes we just like to watch listen to the world burn.
