Rihanna is responsible for conceiving and co-directing the latest cinematic masterpiece that is the "Bitch Better Have My Money" video, but her involvement in the project didn't end there. According to Style.com, Rih also handpicked model Rachel Roberts to star in her short film.
“She codirected it, so she personally cast me," said Roberts. "Despite her ‘out-there’ public image, she’s very professional and hands-on.”
Roberts, who is signed with Next Management and has graced the covers of several issues of Vogue, plays the target of Rihanna's revenge, who is tortured throughout the video to get back at her accountant husband played by Mads Mikkelsen.
It is likely that Mikkelsen's character is based on Rihanna's former real life accountant Peter Gournis that she sued back in 2012 for losing her millions of dollars. So it might be that Roberts resembles a certain Mrs. Gournis, who has been at the center of Rih's murder fantasy, or maybe she just wanted a tall beautiful blonde in the video.
