Lil Uzi Vert Signs With Roc Nation Distribution, Shares New Song and Video "Chanel Boy"

Uzi's last studio album, 'Eternal Atake 2,' was released through Generation Now and Atlantic Records in 2024.

Lil Uzi Vert is entering a fresh chapter with the release of their new song and video “Chanel Boy,” out now.

Monday (Nov. 24), Uzi announced they had made the decision to sign with Roc Nation Distribution. This makes Uzi one of just three artists to be both managed by Roc Nation and signed to Roc Nation Distribution, joining Jay-Z and Rihanna in that distinction. According to a press release, Uzi will “fully own their masters” and has also signed a deal with Roc Nation Publishing.

“Uzi is a global icon and a dynamic force in the music industry, so we’re thrilled to work together with them in this new capacity.” Roc Nation Distribution President Krystian Santini said in a statement shared with Complex. “Our partnership is centered around empowering Uzi to continue building their legacy, with full creative control and the resources to take their artistry to new heights.”

On streaming services, “Chanel Boy” is listed as being released through Cor(e) and Roc Nation Distribution.

“I ain't fall off, bitch, I'm too advanced/I got new money, yeah, the blue, it's stamped,” Uzi boasts in the new track, produced by ZeeGoinXrazy.

Eternal Atake 2, Uzi’s most recent studio album, was released through Generation Now and Atlantic Records in November of last year. A sequel to 2020’s acclaimed Eternal Atake, partially inspired by Heaven's Gate, the album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. Its rollout resulted in this conversation with two individuals described as former members of Heaven’s Gate who maintain control over the group’s intellectual property.

Complex recently ranked Uzi as the No. 10 best-dressed celebrity of the 21st century. ASAP Rocky, Timothée Chalamet, and Teyana Taylor also made the cut. See the full list here.
