Jim Jones has declared himself an “airhead” after running out of fuel on the highway and walking “about a mile” to the nearest gas station.
In a pair of videos shared to Instagram on Tuesday night (April 21), the Dipset alum alerted fans to a subsequent delay in his livestream plans, showing that he was presently stuck remedying the ill-timed emptiness of a gas tank.
“And the Airhead Award of the Day goes to, Jim Jones,” he said. “Who’s on the highway riding and runs out of gas? … I just walked about a mile to the gas station. That can’t be good. But I have my work jacket on. Dipset in full effect. They can’t say they don’t see me. I’m working. But yeah, like I said, this is my situation.”
In the second video, Jones showed himself laughing while holding a gas container up to the camera, all while cars on the highway whizzed past.
“Never fucking fails, life is gon’ throw me some curveballs for real,” he said, as seen above. “Now, I be trying to find a sign in everything. This one clearly states ‘slow your ass down, bro.’”
Jones, whose predicament led to swift reactions from his Let’s Rap About It co-hosts Maino and Fabolous, went on to highlight these temporary inconveniences as being conducive to bringing on “moments of clarity.”
As of this writing, 50 Cent, who rarely misses a chance to chime in on Jones-related developments, has not issued his presumably-on-the-way reaction.
