Fetty Wap’s early prison release appears to have been met with some harsh words from Masika Kalysha.

In one of several X updates shared Wednesday (Jan. 7), the same day Wap was transferred to community confinement, Kalysha, who shares a child with the King Zoo artist, lamented an unnamed individual for being “an immediate disappointment” upon their release.

“1st day out and still a bitch ass n***a,” the Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood alum added in a follow-up post. “Go back.”

The following day, she added more, seemingly in reference to the same unspecified person.

“I don’t play about my babies and idgaf who don’t like it,” she wrote. “My kids have been through enough! Let my babies down and you gonna see a [different] side of me.”

After screenshots of the X posts started circulating in headlines, Kalysha questioned the level of attention they’ve received while suggesting her primary ventures should instead be given the spotlight.

“It really annoys tf outta me when y’all repost my tweets,” she wrote in an Instagram Stories update.

As of this writing, Fetty does not appear to have responded.

In a statement shared after news of his early release first broke, Fetty, originally sentenced to six years on drug-related charges, let fans know where his focus lies as he embarks on this new chapter.

“I’m committed to moving forward with purpose and making a meaningful impact where it matters most,” Fetty said in a statement first shared by The Breakfast Club’s Loren LoRosa.

In September, Fetty, still behind bars at the time, commemorated the 10th anniversary of his self-titled debut studio album with the release of special edition vinyl. What’s next is unclear, but we can presumably expect new music from the 300 Entertainment-signed artist soon.
