Drake has a question.
“Who the fuck brings a baby to a mosh pit?”
Indeed, this inquiry was among several delivered by the $ome $exy $ongs 4 U artist in response to one of numerous handmade signs spotted during a recent Anita Max Win Tour stop. As seen in video making the rounds on social media, Drake, speaking to the crowd, first mentions a sign from someone saying they were “20 weeks pregnant” before the person in question is playfully urged to vacate the general admission pit area of the venue.
“I saw a sign that somebody said they were 20 weeks pregnant in the pit,” Drake said. “Get your ass outta the pit. Yes. Are you 20 weeks pregnant? Get outta the pit. Get outta there. Get the camera on her. Get that baby out of the pit ASAP.”
From there, Drake urged someone on his tour team to ensure the pregnant fan was given VIP tickets “and like $30,000,” an act of generosity that follows several similar instances of financial boons related to the Anita Max Win Tour.
“Stop going in the pit,” Drake added. “Get that baby out of the mosh pit. What the fuck is wrong with y’all? What the hell? Who the fuck brings a baby to a mosh pit?”
Among the comments left on the video above was one from a TikTok user claiming they were the pregnant fan, though this hadn’t been confirmed as of this writing.
Drake’s Anita Max Win Tour continues in the coming days with shows in Brisbane, as well as one more stop in Sydney and back-to-back nights in Auckland next month.
PND and Drake’s $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, meanwhile, is out now. Fittingly, the album arrived on Valentine's Day, resulting in this Complex piece in which its achieved level of sexiness is dissected.
