Cardi B is urging fans to buy her long-awaited sophomore album on vinyl if they think she needs “a new BBL,” marking the latest example of tongue-in-cheek promo from the Grammy winner.

In a recent X update, Cardi shared a photo of herself with her back to the camera, with several versions of Am I the Drama? seen at her feet.

“Buy my vinyls if you think I need a new BBL,” Cardi wrote when sharing the photo.

Cardi has taken a unique approach when it comes to offering multiple cover art options for physical editions of her Invasion of Privacy follow-up. Earlier this month, she tapped into the litany of memes that emerged from her recent trial, which notably ended in her favor.

Am I the Drama? arrives next Friday, Sept. 19, over seven years after its predecessor. Featured on the album is “Imaginary Playerz,” which samples Jay-Z’s In My Lifetime Vol. 1 track.

In a recent IG video, Cardi joked that the official video for “Imaginary Playerz,” co-directed by Patientce Foster, had led to her label cutting the album budget down to $50. The joke, however, was merely Cardi’s clever way of announcing that fans might get a chance to see her in person in select cities in the coming days. Among the teased stops were Long Island, New York, and Atlanta.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
