Cardi B is ruling in favor of these courtroom-inspired covers for her new album.

Just one day after a jury determined that the rapper is not liable for the claims made during her 2018 assault trial, Cardi is releasing limited-edition, one-time print run “Courtroom Edition” variants of her upcoming album, Am I the Drama?

Fans can pre-order three CD variants, each with a different cover featuring stills from Cardi’s viral testimonies during the trial, at her official store.

A separate vinyl edition keeps the standard album cover but uses an image of her rolling her eyes in court printed on the disc label.

Each CD version will run you $10.00, while the vinyl will run you $39. 98.

The trial, which concluded on Tuesday (Sept. 2), inspired viral memes when the plaintiff's attorney Ron Rosen asked Cardi if her hair was real. Other moments that took off online was Cardi’s reaction after being asked to define the word "altercation," to repeat profanities at the plaintiff, and her perplexed expression when asked if Ellis is "bigger" than her.

Cardi was sued by Emani Ellis, a former bodyguard at an obstetrics and gynecology facility in Beverly Hills that accused her of physical assault in 2018. At the time, the rapper was pregnant with her first daughter, Kulture.

“I swear to God, I will say it in my deathbed: I did not touch that woman. I did not touch that girl, I didn't lay my hands on that girl,” Cardi told reporters outside of the Los Angeles courtroom on Tuesday following the jury’s decision.

She added, “With that being said, this time around I'm gonna be nice. The next person to try to do a frivolous lawsuit against me, I'm going to countersue and I'm gonna make you pay because this is not OK.”

Cardi B’s Am I the Drama? Drops on September 19.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
