Cam’ron says his and Dame Dash’s recent tendency to exchange words while “online snapping” is merely “fun” to him, but not so much for Dame.
During a recent episode of his It Is What It Is podcast with Mase and Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson, Cam was asked whether he and Dame would continue to “argue” in the future, prompting him to deliver additional mockery while also asserting that he doesn’t personally have a problem with the Roc-A-Fella co-founder.
“To me, it’s all fun,” Cam said. “To me, I’m snapping. It’s like online snapping. But see, that’s the point, right? When you see him, he’s not snapping fun. He’s mad.”
Cam continued from there, eventually making his way to recently headlined teeth-related disses from both sides. As Cam sees it, Dame has no grounds to be making such remarks, citing this unfortunate incident as the foundation of his argument.
“You’re not allowed to have teeth snaps about anything,” Cam said. “Your teeth fell out on TV. You can’t talk about anything teeth-related. … Dawg, when you can turn on your TV and put it on the big screen and the n***a’s teeth fell out, you can’t snap about teeth. And then, I guess what he’s snapping about now [is] he’s like, ‘Oh, Cam, your teeth was cheap.’ I said, ‘My teeth was $52,000.’ He said his first teeth was $200,000. What happened to ‘em? What you mean your first teeth was $200,000?”
Dame, as previously reported, did indeed challenge Cam to a teeth-off, of sorts, in April.
Amid Cam’s latest remarks, Mase interjected to point out that while Dame isn’t exactly “a godfather” to him, he does wish that the two would bring an end to their public feuding. Cam responded by looking back on a moment during which Dame found himself in a “financial bind,” at which point he reluctantly agreed with Mase’s proposal of offering money to help with the issue. This offer, due to alleged delay on Dame’s part, ultimately fell through.
Elsewhere, Cam reiterated that he doesn’t want “to have a problem” with Dame, whom he sees as someone with “the same three snaps” at their disposal.
“I know a lot that I won’t say,” he added. “I’mma be the bigger person.”
The aforementioned would-be “teeth-off” was also brought back up, with Cam again telling Dame he “can’t talk about anything teeth-related.”
For now, Dame hasn’t jumped out with a direct response to Cam, though it’s easy to imagine that happening any moment now.
