Ariana Grande was moved to tears during a recent show in Los Angeles, offering fans both a “holy shit” and a “holy fuck” in response to their rousing support.

“This is so overwhelming in the most beautiful way ever,” Grande, whose new album petal is out next month, told fans inside Crypto Arena this weekend. “Thank you so much. … This means so much to me. You guys are so amazing. I love you so much, and I always have.”

As the tears became more visible, Grande joked about her Zodiac sign, Cancer, before returning to a sense of gratitude for the more ardent sector of her massive fanbase.

“You can’t do this to me, you know what I mean, because you know what’s gonna happen,” she said. “You know I’m a Cancer, and this is gonna happen. I’m sorry. Thank you so much for always being such a loving, safe presence in my life.”

Grande went on to offer thanks to everyone who’s been “a part of my life for all of these chapters and all of these years,” noting that it’s been roughly seven years since she last embarked on a full-scale tour.

“I have so much gratitude,” she said. “Just, wow. Holy shit. Holy fuck. Thank you.”

The Eternal Sunshine Tour launched earlier this month with three shows in Oakland before moving on to LA for back-to-back stops at Crypto Arena. The Kia Forum in Inglewood is next up, followed by Austin’s Moody Center and Sunrise’s Amerant Bank Arena. The tour will wrap with a lengthy run at the O2 Arena in London stretching across August and September.

The 41-show tour previously made headlines thanks to some shrewdly tweaked “thank u, next” lyrics. Simultaneously, the usual outlets were alight with coverage of the three-time Grammy winner and Ethan Slater’s apparent split, which reportedly happened some time ago but didn’t become public knowledge until this month.
