6ix9ine’s Florida residence was the site of a home invasion led by a group of armed men this weekend, and now surveillance footage has been released.
As previously reported on Monday (Nov. 17), reps for the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office confirmed to Complex that deputies had responded to the property in connection with “a home invasion robbery/burglary in progress.” However, the suspects were not apprehended, having possibly fled the scene in an unspecified vehicle.
“Upon arrival, deputies made contact with several individuals inside the residence who reported that four armed, masked men entered the home with handguns,” the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office rep told Complex on Monday morning. “They stated that the homeowner’s mother was held physically outside while the remaining suspects ran inside and ransacked the property. The suspects asked for cash and car keys. A K-9 track and search of the residence was conducted with negative results. Suspects possibly left in a vehicle prior to deputies' arrival.”
Now, hours after first breaking news of the home invasion, TMZ has shared clips taken from surveillance footage of the property. In one video, a woman said to be 6ix9ine’s mother is seen and heard speaking emotionally with one of the suspects, whose face appears to be obscured by a mask or other covering of some sort.
In another clip, seen here, the same woman—again, presumably 6ix9ine’s mother—is seen being led by one of the suspects. The individual appears to be holding a gun in one hand. Meanwhile, a dog is seen pacing around in both clips. The outlet also shared video of local law enforcement officials arriving at the scene.
As for 6ix9ine himself, he was not home at the time. The TattleTales artist does not appear to have publicly addressed the incident as of this writing.
In recent weeks, 6ix9ine's attorney and the federal government have shared competing arguments as to whether he should spend several months behind bars for violating the conditions of his supervised release.
