"Those accusations are crazy," Fif said.

50 Cent, despite his penchant for public mockery of fellow celebrities, is hoping for a positive outcome for Jay-Z in his ongoing legal dispute.

As you’ll recall, Jay is named alongside Diddy in a lawsuit accusing both of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000. In the days since news of Jay being named first hit headlines, his legal team, led by Alex Spiro, has made a point to highlight what they argue are a number of key inconsistencies in the anonymous accuser’s claims. Specific criticism has also been leveled at attorney Tony Buzbee, whom Jay previously called a “fraud.”

Speaking with Linsey Davis for ABC News, Fif, who’s currently working on a Diddy-focused documentary, said he found the Jay claims to be “interesting” for a few reasons.

“That was interesting,” he said. “I was saying things not knowing exactly what I was saying. I was going like, ‘Where’s Jay at? He’s mad quiet’ while the Puffy thing was going on. But it’s obvious now that his team was being made aware that he was in those allegations also. I hope it works out because with the family, the things that go on internally. Those accusations are crazy.”

In the same interview, 50 also again addressed the numerous allegations against Diddy, who’s presently in custody in New York ahead of a 2025 racketeering and trafficking trial. As Fif tells it, he’s been “as surprised as everyone else” when it comes to the nature of the accusations against Diddy, though he underscored a feeling he had earlier in his career that ultimately kept him away from certain goings-on.
