Wale returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night to perform his new single, the Michael Jackson-inspired "My P.Y.T." Keeping to the song's theme, the rapper used the performance to show off his best moonwalk.
The unexpected and awkwardly charming dance amused many fans.

Ever fashion-conscious, Wale was rocking an Adidas/Palace collaboration shirt and Yeezy Boost 350s on his feet during his performance, which was a combination that did not go unnoticed on social media.

"My P.Y.T." is the first single from Wale's upcoming album, S.H.I.N.E., which he says stands for "Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy." It is due out sometime this summer. The rapper's last project was the 2015 Seinfeld-themed album, The Album About Nothing, which featured Jerry Seinfeld himself in a narrator role.
