Ye Said Frank Ocean Told Him Not to Support Trump in 2016

Ye was baffled by Ocean's comments as he believed the singer had no idea about politics.

Ye has revealed Frank Ocean came to his home in 2016 to tell him not to support President Donald Trump during his first presidential term.

In his live stream with Digital Nas, Ye spoke about how the Channel Orange singer visited him to talk about politics and advised him not to support President Trump or his MAGA ideas back in 2016. According to Ye, Ocean has no right to talk to him about politics, especially when he's older than him. Ye also claimed how great he is over every other artist and how untalented his peers are.

"Frank Ocean pussy ass come over my house talking about Trump all day and how I shouldn't support Trump. N***a fuck you know about politics and n***a I'm your motherfucking senior, OG, y'all used to come on tour with me n***a," said Ye. "None of you n***as can tell me about politics n***a. Fuck you think? You read a book and now you can tell me some shit?

He added, "None of these n***as as talented. I'm the greatest motherfucking artist that ever existed. They can just be slightly better at one thing cause they only do that one thing."

Ye caused a stir in 2016 when he publicly endorsed Trump during one of his many Saint Pablo Tour rants. According to Ye, supporting and voting for Trump doesn't mean he doesn't stand for what's right.

"[Voting for Trump] don't mean that I don't think that Black Lives Matter; that don't mean I don't believe in women's rights; that don't mean that I don't believe in gay marriage, that don't mean I don't believe in these things because that was the guy I would've voted for," he said to the crowd.

Things got more out of pocket when Ye visited Trump in New York City later that year and continued to support him in various interviews. He also donned the infamous MAGA hat when visiting Trump at the White House in 2018.
