“Yeah, I've been cooking for sure. The album called Forever Hold Your Peace. I just gave you the title. That's exclusive,” Moneybagg Yo said.
“I'm just talking, bro. I'm letting it all out. Everything they want to know, I'm answering all the questions. You know what I'm saying? Anything in the streets or the fans, the people want to know about Moneybagg, yo, you finna find out… Yes, Forever Hold Your Peace. You know, I kind of be like, everything be like in. I don't let nobody in, but I'm going to let them in on this one.
Moneybagg added that fans won’t have to wait too long for the project. “Soon, in a couple months,” he said. “Soon. If it's getting hot outside.”
The upcoming album follows a strong run of releases that have kept Moneybagg Yo at the forefront of Southern hip-hop over the past several years. His 2023 mixtape Hard to Love debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, while earlier albums like A Gangsta’s Pain produced major hits, including “Wockesha” and “Time Today,” both of which became staples on radio and streaming platforms. His 2024 album, Speak Now, debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200.
Moneybagg has also notched viral success through collaborations across hip-hop and R&B, teaming up with artists such as Lil Durk on “Sharing Locations,” Future on “Hard for the Next,” and Jhene Aiko on the melodic fan favorite “One Way.” The string of charting singles and cross-genre features has helped solidify his reputation as one of the South’s most reliable hitmakers.
In recent months, the Memphis rapper has also drawn attention for his dramatic fitness transformation, frequently posting workout clips and lifestyle changes that fans have praised as part of a broader personal evolution.
Together, the consistent chart presence, high-profile collaborations, and personal reinvention have set the stage for Forever Hold Your Peace, which Moneybagg has teased as a more open and revealing chapter in his career.
