Moneybagg Yo doesn’t want to see anyone accusing him of being a clone after his fitness journey resulted in him looking healthier.
In a TikTok video, he 34-year-old rapper showcased just how much he’s improved his physique earlier this year, prompting people to criticize his new appearance.
“He look so different now,” one commenter wrote, to which Yo replied, “All u gotta do is eat better and stay healthy.”
In another comment, someone claimed it wasn’t him in the video. “Who else it is then?” he wrote in response. “Mane y’all bsn just say I look cleaner, healthier y’all act like y’all wanted me to stay on drugs.”
When someone else plainly wrote “this ain’t Moneybagg,” he reiterated his comments from before. “Dragging that lame cap ass narrative out damn just get healthy get like me I’m doing better than I ever was now y’all act like y’all wanted a n***a to stay on drugs smh shit crazy,” he added.
Earlier this year, Moneybagg Yo showcased just how far he’s come. He compared an earlier photo of himself to how he looks today, showing a much more muscular build. "Them: This a transformation that gotta be studied," Moneybagg captioned the post on Instagram showing his journey. "Me: Study Yo Bitch."
In 2023, he spoke with Men's Health about his fitness regimen, which he said he improved after he got “jealous” scrolling through Instagram and seeing others in the gym. “Their physique and body be coming right. I’ll be like, ‘I want to get like that.’ And it just motivates me to get in the gym and stay in the gym,” he said.
