Maxo Kream is officially in the clear after reaching a deal with prosecutors that led to the dismissal of his criminal case stemming from a 2024 traffic stop in Texas.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop and signed by a judge on Friday (Nov. 7), the Houston rapper’s case was formally dropped following an agreement negotiated by his legal team.

Maxo had been charged with unlawful carrying of guns by a registered gang member after police allegedly discovered two firearms in his vehicle during a July 7 traffic stop. However, the case was dismissed after Maxo agreed to forfeit the weapons, complete community service and attend a gun safety course.

“We are thankful to the Harris County District Attorney’s office for dismissing these cases today,” Maxo’s attorney, Carl A. Moore, told TMZ Hip Hop following the ruling.

Police initially accused the rapper of attempting to flee during the stop, though that claim became a point of dispute between both parties as the case unfolded. Shortly after news of his arrest broke, Maxo took to Instagram to set the record straight, posting a screenshot of the TMZ article and writing: “I wasn’t ‘ELUDING’ my Lambo just a lil fast 🤔 but na no more jail.”

At the time, Moore also pushed back on the claims, saying, “Maxo did not flee from the police, he complied with the commands of the arresting officer.
