Kid Cudi has revealed that his highly anticipated joint album with Travis Scott will eventually happen, a sharp contrast from when he said "the moment has passed" last year.

On Friday, a Travis Scott fan page on Twitter tweeted a post asking for Cudi and La Flame to drop their long-awaited collaborative album. The fan had written, "We need the Scott's album," which ended up getting Cudi's attention. According to Cudder, the joint project is still on tap, and fans don't need to worry about it releasing.

"Its def happening at somepoint," Cudi tweeted. "Dont even trip."

The tweet comes after Kid Cudi claimed the moment to work with Travis Scott on the album came and went, signaling no more interest in it. "The Scotts album still on the cards?" a fan asked, which had Cudi state, "Naw im not doing that. The moment has passed."

In 2020, Travis Scott and Kid Cudi teamed up as the Scotts for an eponymous track, which was previewed during the Houston native's Fortnite video game event. A year later, Cudi suggested that an album was coming but wasn't sure when exactly it could happen before completely pulling the plug on it in December 2022.

While fans wait for the elusive album, they already have a boatload of songs to hold them over. La Flame and the Man on the Moon rapper first collaborated on "Baptized in Fire," which was released in 2016 on Cudi's Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'. They joined forces again on "Through The Late Night" on Scott's Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and "Stop Trying To Be God" on Astroworld.

Most recently, the two joined forces on "LOOOVE," track number 16 on Travis Scott's newly released album UTOPIA. The song finds the two reflecting on the love they receive from their fans and the troubles they deal with that come with fame.
