Kanye West's highly anticipated New Delhi debut has been called off, with organizers citing security directives from Indian authorities.

On Friday (May 15), White Fox announced that the May 23 show at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will not go forward, pointing to official warnings tied to a high-alert situation in the capital. According to TMZ, the Indian government has raised concerns about possible terrorism threats in and around Delhi.

"We are deeply disheartened to announce that Ye live in India, scheduled for May 2026 in New Delhi, has been officially cancelled following security advisories and directives issued by the concerned government and law enforcement authorities amid the current high-alert situation in the capital," White Fox said in a statement posted to Instagram.

The organizers added: "After months of planning and preparation for what was set to become one of the largest live productions ever attempted in India, the safety and well-being of attendees and the citizens of India remains the highest priority."

Ticketholders for the nearly sold-out event will receive full refunds. A source told TMZ the show is being rescheduled for October, and White Fox has confirmed it is working with West to lock in a new date and venue somewhere in India.

This marks the second time the New Delhi show has been derailed. It was originally set for March 29 before socio-political tensions pushed it to May. The India cancellation joins a growing list of collapsed Ye dates across the globe.

In early April, the UK barred the rapper-producer from entering the country, which triggered the full cancellation of London's Wireless Festival on July 10-12. French officials threatened to block a June 11 Marseille performance, prompting a postponement, while shows in Poland and Switzerland were also scrapped, per The Guardian.

Not every date has fallen through, however. A promoter in Albania is moving forward with a show, planning to construct a temporary 60,000-seat venue, and Kanye West is separately partnering with an Israeli businessman on a concert in Georgia.
