Kanye West’s Bully rollout may not be slowing down anytime soon.

Gamma, the distributor behind the project, revealed over the weekend that a deluxe version of the album is on the way, while also pushing back on early reports about its chart performance. The announcement came via Instagram, where the company disputed initial figures that had Bully debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. According to Gamma, those numbers don’t reflect a full week of activity due to the album’s unconventional release timing.

Unlike most projects, Bully arrived on streaming platforms on a Saturday instead of the standard Friday drop, effectively shortening its first tracking window. Gamma claims that when accounting for a full seven days of sales and streaming, the album actually moved closer to 200,000 units, enough, in their view, to warrant a No. 1 debut.

The company also pointed to strong performance across platforms, highlighting the album’s streaming numbers and global chart presence. In its promotion, Gamma described Bully as a top-performing release in the U.S. and internationally, citing high engagement on major platforms and significant viewership for related video content.

The campaign extended beyond streaming, with Gamma also spotlighting West’s recent live shows, including a record-setting performance at SoFi Stadium.

Still, the announcement raised as many questions as it answered. While the deluxe version has been confirmed, no release date has been provided, and details about additional tracks remain unclear.

There’s also ongoing debate among listeners about the album itself, with some fans suggesting the current version of Bully feels unfinished, adding another layer of intrigue to the upcoming deluxe edition.

For now, Gamma’s message is clear that Bully is performing at a higher level than initial reports suggest, and there’s more to come.
