Jim Jones is calling for a Harlem showdown with Cam'ron, but this time through a VERZUZ event.

Jones took to Instagram over Memorial Day weekend with a direct message aimed at his former Dipset running mate, suggesting they settle their longtime tension onstage in front of fans.

“Tell ya mans I wanna do a verse against him since he made us lose our last verses at the Apollo,” Jones wrote, despite the fact that the show took place at MSG. “Call Swizz lol. Happy Memorial Day lol.”

He doubled down further in the caption, writing: “Let’s settle this once n for all. We can do it right in Harlem we know u ain’t been here in a while but they still love u lol lol lol 😂.”

Jones also added another jab aimed at Cam’s reputation, writing: “Smoke ain’t ur thing we all know tht so let’s settle this like this lol.”

The post immediately reignited conversation around the fractured relationship between the two Harlem rap icons, whose issues have repeatedly resurfaced publicly over the years despite their shared history in Dipset.

Jones’ reference to “losing” at MSG is tied to Dipset’s highly discussed 2021 VERZUZ loss against The Lox. The event became one of the most viral moments in VERZUZ history, with many fans believing The Lox dominated the night thanks to their sharp performances and stage chemistry, while Dipset appeared disorganized throughout portions of the show.

Cam’ron has not publicly responded to Jones’ challenge as of now.

The latest comments add another chapter to the complicated dynamic between the two rappers, who helped define early 2000s New York rap through Dipset alongside Juelz Santana and others.

While the crew produced multiple classic mixtapes and influential records together, internal tensions and public disagreements have lingered for years.
