Jay-Z is bringing two of the most important albums in hip-hop history back to center stage with a pair of major events at Yankee Stadium this summer, and fans are already scrambling to figure out how to secure tickets.
The Roc Nation founder will headline JAŸ-Z 30 and JAŸ-Z 25, two celebratory shows honoring Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint, respectively. The back-to-back concerts are set to take place on July 10 and July 11, marking milestone anniversaries for both projects. With demand expected to be sky-high, here’s everything you need to know about how to get in the building and be a part of history.
When Do JAŸ-Z 30 and JAŸ-Z 25 Tickets Go on Sale?
Tickets for both shows will roll out in phases, starting with presales before opening up to the general public. The Citi presale begins Monday, March 23, at 10 a.m. ET and runs through 10 p.m. ET, giving cardmembers early access through the Citi Entertainment program.
Later that same day at 1 p.m. ET, additional presales from Roc Nation, Live Nation, and the New York Yankees will open up. For everyone else, the general on-sale starts Tuesday, March 24, at 10 a.m. ET via LiveNation.com.
Where Are the Shows Happening?
Both events will take place at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, a fitting backdrop for a celebration of two albums that helped define New York hip-hop. On July 10, JAŸ-Z 30 will commemorate the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt, Jay-Z’s debut album that introduced the world to his storytelling and hustler’s mentality. The following night, July 11, JAŸ-Z 25 will honor The Blueprint, the 2001 classic widely considered one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever made.
