GloRilla Admits Giving Up Alcohol Was the Toughest Part of Her Fast

Big Glo said avoiding drinks at events and other get-togethers wasn't easy, especially when people around her would be consuming alcohol.

GloRilla has revealed that alcohol was the hardest thing for her to avoid while she was on her month-long fast.

In an interview with BET, Big Glo reflected on her journey to better health, which started with fasting for a whole month. The rapper kicked things off with a list of things to do to achieve better health, such as finishing a book, avoiding clubbing, hitting the gym at least three times a week, and more. She even invited fans to join in on the health journey, but there was one thing that wasn't easy and required her to push herself over the hump.

"I probably say that drinking [was the hardest to avoid], but I'm not a drinker anyway. I don't take shots unless it's occasionally. I drink margaritas," said Glo. "I [had] a lot of stuff to do like the game events–All-Star Weekend and the Super Bowl. I had shows, and I couldn't drink. I normally like to prep myself with a little drinky drink. But I couldn't do that."

She continued, "So that was probably the hardest part, 'cause drinking water is easy, and going to the gym is easy, and reading a book is easy. Some people did it with me and that did make it easier, the few people that did. When everybody was around just drinking, I was like, 'Oh my god.' I was trying to stay away from them."

Speaking with Complex’s Jordan Rose back in February about how her fast was going, GloRilla admitted it was “hard to go out around people and not be a little drunk.”

The hard work has been paying off, as people have been hitting her with BBL allegations that she has since denied. GloRilla recently had some fun with the allegations when she posted a video of herself in the gym addressing the rumors about her new look and revealing the "shots" she actually got.

"I've been seeing everybody with all the BBL allegations and I wanna come on here and be honest," Glo said. "So, I didn't get a BBL, but I did get some 'discipline shots.' So, I got 'em inserted right here and right here."

She then pointed to her dimples and continued, "And, you know, they just flow all the way through my brain. Just a few shots of discipline and that's it. And that's how you gon' get a fat ass. But I ain't get no BBL."
