Drake came up big in the betting market after the Denver Nuggets won the 2023 NBA Finals on Monday night.

The OVO Sound boss took to his Instagram Story with a series of posts highlighting his huge payout. According to his IG Story, Drizzy put up $242,583.91 on the Denver Nuggets to beat the Miami Heat four games to one and walked away with an estimated payout of $824,785.31.

Drake also bet $1 million on the Nuggets taking the series and left with an estimated $1,230,000. In total, the Toronto native made a whopping $2,054,785.31 off just those two bets. Following the Nuggets' win, Drake expressed his excitement with two more posts showing Nuggets superstars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

“Me and Eddie after Nuggets finally get me a sports win @stake,” Drake wrote under a picture of Jokic and Murray. In the next slide, the rapper demanded his money with the quote “[Canadian flag emoji] CASH ME” and a still of Jamal Murray breathing a sigh of relief during the close of Game 5 on Monday night.

Nikola Jokic took home the Finals MVP trophy after his amazing performance in the championship round. The Nuggets also won their first NBA championship in franchise history with their 94-89 series-clinching win.

Drake has been winning big when it comes to placing sports bets this year. In April, the 6 God bet $1 million and won $1.38 million as a result of boxer Gervonta Davis’ seventh-round knockout of Ryan Garcia.

“Tank day aka pay day,” Drake wrote in an Instagram post in which he shared his betting slip hours before the fight.

“Tell him I need half of that! It’s pretty cool to have people like that believe in me," Davis said after learning Drake placed a bet on him. "It made me push even harder, so shoutout to Drake and the rest of the people that back me. This is only the beginning for me, I have a bright future and I’m staying humble through it all. What can I say? We done it again tonight.”
