Since last April, Drake has teased the release of a new Nike sneaker with unmistakable influence pulled from the Air Zoom Flight '95. That shoe, the Nike NOCTA Glide, now appears to be nearing its retail debut.
The NOCTA Glide will launch in a black-and-white colorway directly inspired by the Flight '95. Woven detailing along the sides and midsole insets mimic the original's famous carbon fiber paneling. Additional features include a mesh-constructed base, 'NIKE' lettering down the eyestay, and a blue-tinted translucent sole.
Under his NOCTA label, Drake previously released the Hot Step Air Terra, which has been released in several colorways since early last year. According to The Shoe Game, the NOCTA Glide will release sometime this month for $160.
UPDATE (09/08): Official images of the NOCTA x Nike Glide sneaker have loaded on the backend of Nike's website. According to leaker @Brandon1an on Twitter, this black and white colorway will be released on Sept. 15 via SNKRS and at select retailers.
