Drake showed love to longtime friend and Adin Ross over the weekend, sending a rare and personal public message to celebrate Ross' 25th birthday.

On Saturday, the Toronto superstar shared a photo of the two together on his Instagram Story, calling Ross his "little brother" and praising the streamer's rising success.

"Love you kid," Drake wrote. "More life and more W's. Congrats on all the new moves and you're only getting started @adinross. My little brother—have fun and enjoy your weekend to the MAX."

Drake and Ross have built a close bond over the last few years: jumping on livestreams together, making viral gambling appearances, and teasing unreleased music during late-night streams.

Beyond the birthday shoutout, Ross has also become a go-to voice for fans looking for updates on Drake's upcoming album ICEMAN, which is thus far being rolled out through surprise drops and livestream previews. Ross recently claimed that only a few of the songs heard on streams will make the final cut.

"Drake has a ton of surprises for everybody," he said. "You guys just got to be patient. He's on some crazy shit."

Some streamers attempted to leak what they said was ICEMAN material earlier this month, including a track rumored to feature a DeMar DeRozan diss. But Drake told Ross he has "no idea" who the would-be leakers are.
