Adult film actress Cherokee D'Ass is pushing back after Drake referenced her on his new album, ICEMAN, questioning why he's revisiting a decades-old memory in 2026.

On the track "Make Them Pay," Drake raps: "Shoutout to Cherokee D and Skyy Black 'cause they were at my birthday when I was searching big booty Ebonies.”

Cherokee D'Ass didn't let the quick trip down memory lane slide as she posted on X, "Rapping about shit that happened over 20 years ago lol." It’s unclear if Drake is telling the truth, as the birthday was implied to be from when he was a teenager. The rapper is 39.

The shoutout was not received as a compliment, and some fans weren’t happy with Cherokee’s comments.

“Tbf You are still doing the same shht you was doing 20yrs ago so..,” one person tweeted. Another person wrote, “so what's the problem? you were trending all day yesterday to the point where ppl who didn't know you are now following you that could bring more customers and you complaining? smh even this tweet is probably the biggest tweet you have had this year I'm sure you won't be mad at the twitter check sis.”

Someone else chimed in, “n***a got cherokee talking shit oh no.”

Although Cherokee pushed back against her name being brought into the conversation, several rising artists connected to Iceman reportedly saw massive jumps in Spotify monthly listeners following the album’s release.

According to a graphic circulating online, Molly Santana climbed from 569,000 monthly listeners to 7.8 million, while Stunna Sandy reportedly increased from 336,000 to 2 million. Iconic Savvy and Qendresa were also said to have experienced major streaming surges after appearing on the project.
