Cardi B nearly pulled the plug on her Atlanta tour stop after a heated situation behind the scenes escalated into a public confrontation just hours before showtime.

The rapper went live on Instagram ahead of her second night at State Farm Arena on April 18, visibly upset over how members of her team were treated upon arrival. In the livestream, she called out venue staff, warning that she was prepared to cancel the show if the issue wasn't addressed immediately.

"Your fucking employees are being disrespectful… I'm not performing today," Cardi said during the broadcast, demanding to speak with higher management. "We got in here, your employees are being fucking rude for no reason, being rude for no reason. I feel a certain type of way, because you being disrespectful. I did 35 shows, and I never had a problem, and we've been kind to everybody."

While details of the altercation remain unclear, Cardi made it known she felt her team was being disrespected without cause.

The drama stood in sharp contrast to the night before, when the first of her two Atlanta shows went off without a hitch. That performance featured high energy and surprise appearances from hometown heavyweights including T.I., Jeezy, and Mariah the Scientist.

Despite the earlier threat, the situation ultimately de-escalated and she took the stage to perform as scheduled. Before the performance, Cardi took to X to signal that her frustration was directed at the behind-the-scenes treatment, not her fans.

"When you hold power and authority, use it with kindness and respect," she said in a follow-up message. "Never abuse it… because not everyone will endure your arrogance in silence. Treat others exactly like you demand to be treated. Atlanta… I'll see you soon."

The Atlanta dates marked the end of Cardi's "Little Miss Drama" tour, which has been a major success since kicking off in February.
