BTS made a historic return to the stage with their first full-group concert in three years, drawing a massive crowd to Gwanghwamun Square and setting a new benchmark for live K-pop events.
The special performance, titled BTS Comeback Live: Arirang, brought a huge amount of fans together in the heart of Seoul, with 22,000 seated die-hards and a total turnout that organizers said exceeded 100,000 people — and that some reports had at more than twice that number. The event also streamed globally via Netflix, marking the platform’s first-ever livestream of a single artist’s concert.
BTS opened with new material from their latest album Arirang, including “Body to Body,” “Hooligan,” and “2.0,” before weaving in fan-favorite hits like “Butter” and “Mic Drop,” which sparked one of the loudest reactions of the night. The group also debuted performances of newer tracks, including the highly anticipated “Swim” (and its equally-anticipated choreography). You can see the complete setlist here.
The show marked the group’s return after going on hiatus in 2022, so their members could complete their required military service. Their world tour, expected to make a billion dollars, begins next month.
