50 Cent is willing to bet that ASAP Rocky will come out victorious in his assault case.
On Saturday, 50 hopped on Instagram with a post announcing he would be down to bet $500,000 that Rocky will win the case. He claimed ASAP Relli is only looking for some money and criticized him for telling the judge he was "scared."
"I got ASAP beaten this case I'll bet 500, 000 on it, that boy ASAP Tellie was just trying to get some money," said Rocky. "Fool said I was scared for my life so I went back to the scene and picked up these shells. Officer 👮 told him hey if you want to get some money go to the hospital.Who want the bet ! @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi."
The image 50 used in his post was from an article highlighting the intense back-and-forth between Rocky's attorney, Joe Tacopina, and Deputy District Attorney John Lewin, that took place over remarks made in court. In a clip from the courtroom, Lewin and Tacopina provoked each other before the judge yelled at both of them during the closing moments of the trial.
The defense and prosecution have given contrasting arguments about the events that occurred in Hollywood in 2021, where Relli is accusing Rocky of shooting a gun at him.
"Was it a real gun or was it a fake gun?" Deputy District Attorney Paul Przelomiec said. "Nothing else is in dispute." On the other hand, the defense has maintained that the gun was a prop weapon that only fired blanks.
