Kodak Black Shades Hurricane Chris While Chilling in His Swimming Pool

Kodak Black heard what Hurricane Chris had to say and took a quick break to diss him.

Love his music or not, Kodak Black has a way of keeping his name popping on the internet. Whether it's posting his hotel sexcapades on IG or getting dragged for his recent ducktail haircut, there's something about Kodak that makes people like Master P recognize his superstar potential. You know what that means, right? Now artists who aren't currently in the conversation can find their way back into the discussion by affixing themselves to a current "name" rapper, no matter how ridiculous their angle.

Enter Hurricane Chris.

For some reason, Hurricane Chris is dropping an album on March 7. You remember Chris, right? He had a hit a whole decade ago entitled "A Bay Bay," followed up by a more minor hit, "Halle Berry." He was also got a Fila endorsement...then kind of kept it quiet ever since. That is, until it was time insert himself into this "beef" between Kodak Black and Lil Wayne, which Lil Wayne doesn't even seem to be participating in. For those who don't remember, Kodak challenged Lil Wayne to a fist fight in January over the "greatest rapper of all time" moniker, because 2017 wtf lol.

For some reason, that sleeping dog wasn't able to lie, because Hurricane Chris figured it was time to stick up for his mans, essentially challenging anyone who wants to see Lil Wayne to see him first, proclaiming "With that being said, Wayne, Weezy, Lil Tunechi, whatever you want to call him, you gon' fuck with him, you gon' fuck with me."

Now, it's hard to tell why Chris felt compelled to ride for Lil Wayne so hard; they were both featured (on separate tracks) on Chris Brown's Forever album (although you needed the super deluxe edition to find Chris' feature on the "Picture Perfect" remix), and it looks like Lil Wayne did his thing on Hurricane Chris' "Gettin' Money," but that seems to be it?

As you can see in the above video, Kodak was enjoying himself in a pool when he decided to start recording himself saying "a bay bay," while reportedly in his pool in Florida. The kicker is that an unidentified woman in the background says "what," to which Kodak just smiles like he just told the funniest joke ever.

Look, I don't think anyone is trying to fight anyone right now, but I imagine a Kodak versus Hurricane Chris scuffle would go down much sooner than a Kodak versus Lil Wayne scuffle. We just want to hear more music, which Kodak recently gave us in the form of "I Need Love" while also teasing a new project, Painting Pictures, which is tentatively set to be released on March 31. This would be his first full-length since he dropped Lil B.I.G. Pac in 2016. If you're trying to hear Kodak rap over an LL Cool J instrumental from 1987, go in.
