Drake Is Shooting His Shot With Angelina Jolie

Drake gonna Drake.

Drake did the most Drake ting imaginable on his Instagram today: he tried to get a famous woman’s attention by being his kinda sad, kinda tough self. He posted a black and white photo (the only way to go when you’re in a ~mood~) of him sitting all alone at what appears to be a dinner table, looking wistfully into the camera. But that’s could just be any old photo of the Toronto rapper. What made this particular photo special is the caption: “Stood Me Up” and who he tagged: Angelina Jolie.

It should be noted that he did not tag Jolie’s actual Instagram account, and instead a very popular fan account (it doesn’t look like Jolie has an official Instagram). It’s probably just a joke that Drake came up with because he needed an excuse to post another photo of himself, but it definitely got some people talking.

Drake is no stranger to flirting via very public channels like social media. In fact, it’s truly the man’s calling. He fueled weeks of dating rumors when he posted a photo of him cheesin’ next to Jennifer Lopez around the end of 2016.

Earlier this year, Drake won the award for Top Billboard 200 Album for Views at the Billboard Music Awards and gave a pretty memorable acceptance speech in which he very deliberately shot his shot with Vannesa Hudgens. “You look incredibly tonight,” he told her during the middle of his speech. He later followed her on Instagram and liked one of her pictures, because of course he did.

Sarah Silverman is another woman on the long list of women Drake thirsts over.

But even before Drake was the massive superstar we know him to be today, he was still loudly talking about his crushes to anyone who would hear. Who remembers this classic Aubrey Plaza shout-out from 2013?
