Finesse2Tymes has another legal battle on his hands, having been arrested on multiple drug charges in East Texas.

According to the Rusk County intimate database, Finessee2Tymes (real name Ricky Hampton) was taken into custody on Thursday (January 15). The 33-year-old was charged with possession of marijuana, prohibited substance/item in a correctional facility, and possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2.

Police records show that the rapper’s girlfriend, Halle Buckingham, was also arrested in East Texas; however, her arrest date is listed as January 14. The woman, who goes by FNG Shugga, was also hit with multiple drug charges as well as tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Finesse2Tymes has since been released from jail, but as of press time, FNG Shugga is still being held on a $526,000 bond.

On Thursday afternoon, Finesse2Tymes returned to Instagram to address his latest arrest, and point the finger at fellow Memphis MC MoneyBagg Yo.

"Bagg put the police on me," he wrote in a Story. "Yall be wanting me to stay in jail so bad. I don't carry nun but some Za and a yerk or 2. Yaw Nygas some real haters."

Finesse2Tymes then turned his attention toward his girlfriend, writing: "I ain't gone lie, I'm sick w out u Shug. On god don't nobody know like her."

In a second post, he added: "And bagg u know I know the truth [100 emoji]. Yo cousin Big homie g name BEEN in the paper work GOT THE DAMO MAN REAL TIME and yall swept ts under the rug so quit speakin on rats and u wit one."

This isn't the first time Finesse2Tymes and FNG Shugga have been arrested. The couple, who share a child together, were arrested in September 2025 for alleged drug and possession. The rapper was arrested about a month later on similar charges.
