Finesse2Tymes and the mother of his child and girlfriend, FNG Shugga, were arrested on drug and gun possession charges last week.
According to Smith County arrest records, the two were arrested for alleged gun and drug possession on Saturday (Sept. 20). Shortly after they were arrested, they both made bail and were released. A video shows that the pair was arrested shortly after they had a concert in Tyler, Texas. Fans watched the moment unfold and offered their support for both of them as they were placed into squad cars.
He addressed the arrest across two posts on Instagram. In the first, he shared a series of photos of himself and Shugga, which he captioned, "Went to jail, came home, went to jail again, came back again."
In a second post, he shared a video of the show at the 220 Lounge in Tyler, Texas, and addressed when he's always open about his legal issues.
"People wonder why I talk about jail so much, it’s because when I’m performing that’s all I can remember, and rather I make it further or not compared to what I HAD I can’t lose," he captioned the video. "I have learned to accept the things that I cannot change, the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
Earlier this year, Finesse2Tymes turned himself in to authorities after he allegedly violated his probation conditions. The Memphis rapper shared a video on his Instagram Story at the time showing him walking into a courthouse in Texas. "I'll be back," he told fans. Before he was arrested, he addressed an argument he had with his girlfriend's mother, which she called the police over because she alleged he threatened to shoot her.
