BIA has fiercely denied a claim that she was begging the crowd to stick around for the remainder of her Coachella performance on Saturday.
BIA responded to a comment in a video posted on X by Billboard on Sunday (April 12) where she was briefly interviewed before taking the stage. The person alleges the BIANCA artist was begging concertgoers to stay after Natalie Nunn’s departure following her surprise appearance.
“STFU U WEIRD ASS BITCH STOP LYING THE WHOLE PERFORMANCE IS LIVE STREAMED [NOBODY] BEGGED SHIT U WEIRDO,” she wrote.
The claim appears to stem from since-removed clips that were circulating in which BIA tells the crowd, “I’m not done,” because attendees were allegedly leaving.
Since these videos cannot be viewed, it’s impossible to confirm that people were leaving or understand the context of her remark. Maybe she was really speaking to those who were on their way out. Or maybe she was teasing more surprises to come after Nunn?
In addition to Nunn, BIA also brought out DDG, OhGeesy, and Denzel Curry.
The comment about “[none] of those thousands of people know the 5 Bia songs Cardi asked them to name” is in reference to the Cardi B diss track “Pretty & Petty,” released last year, where she raps, “Name five BIA songs, gun pointin’ to your head / Bow, I’m dead.”
When asked by Nessa in an interview on Hot 97 about the diss track, BIA said a response was “beneath” her.
