BIA has made it her mission to fight back against raunchiness in hip-hop.

The BIANCA artist joined radio personality Ebro Darden for Apple Music and discussed her new single "One Thing," which she said was influenced by Lauryn Hill classic "Doo Wop (That Thing)."

After sharing that she wanted to keep the record "intentional," Bia explained that she wanted her lyrical content to be different than her earlier music.

"What do I wanna contribute to?" said BIA. "I wanted less prostitution in rap. I wanted more love, more families staying together. ... Some things that's cool that music or this industry will make you think is not as cool. It is cool."

The interview comes nearly a month after her album BIANCA dropped and only garnered 8,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.

Since last year, the rapper has been beefing with Cardi B, who dissed Bia on "Pretty & Petty" from her sophomore album, Am I the Drama? While the rappers traded shots on social media last year, Bia addressed Cardi on "Sue Meee?" where she accused the Grammy winner of cheating on her husband, Offset.

But as Bia shared on Hot 97 last month, she won't respond to Cardi B's latest jab.

"If she wanna get on a stream or she wanna like get in the booth with me in the real life and, like, really rap and do it for real? … I would do it because I write on the spot," Bia said on the program.

Cardi B, for her part, took numerous shots at BIA after dropping her diss track. She claimed Bia lied about writing her hit "Whole Lotta Money," she dropped a video for her diss track, and said she wouldn't pick on Bia for her low album sales.
